Cooked Thanksgiving Dinner for 20 for a favorite client who lives in the country.  It was a two day event for us, first day of shopping, prepping and baking.

Second day was the final cooking and serving of hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert!  Most of the recipes are my clients’ traditional recipes she’s been cooking for a very long time.  I interjected a few twists but mostly followed her instructions and consider her my T-day Muse!!!

Sounds like an amazing meal! I Really wish I could see more pictures! But I totally get it. When they’re too delicious, it’s too hard to pause and take pics!

In all honestly, I don’t know how anyone can pull such a feast in a couple of days! I am beyond impressed… and the dishes, and the organization, and… WOW!

@Rene–we were quite happy being together in the kitchen!!
@Angelina–It was amazing, only wish we had time to take more pics!
@Sally—with the best Sous Chef a husband could ask for and the Client’s housekeeper is the best third pair of hands I’ve ever worked with! She carved the Turkey like a real pro, that way Kathy and I could tend to finishing all the other dishes and ensure that everything went out hot! We had the Butternut Squash soup shooters on the table for their sit-down then plated the salad–the sides were placed on the table family style but we provided french platter service for the turkey, stuffing and brisket! Desserts were set up in the butler’s pantry for everyone to ogle then we plated based on requests.
