We gathered together to enjoy a wonderful Easter Weekend, RI Branch arrived on Saturday and helped prepare for the Easter Sunday Repast. We started with making a “Bunny Cake”. Connor-boy the youngest Grandson helped with the decorations!
The Bunny’s ears are filled with Lifesaver Jelly Beans, the eyes were wrapped Hershey Special Dark Chocolate Eggs, and one used for his nose and his mouth was filled with Chocolate covered blueberries! Whiskers were pastel colored jimmies and the whole bunny was sprinkled with Lavender Crystal Sprinkles.
Next up was Chocolate Flower Pot Cupcakes that each of us decorated with grass and flowers!
Dinner for Saturday night was menu designed by grandsons! Poppa’s Chicken Cutlets, French Fries, Corn and Salad. After dinner the table setting project was accomplished, silver flatware polished, wine glasses washed and decor in place including homemade napkin rings, embroidered napkins, silly bunny printed place cards, ceramic bunnies, pink tea lights holders, frosted pink bud vases, pink petals, glass stones, pink doilies, lilac laminated chargers all on the Easter Pink Table Cloth!
Overnight the Easter Bunny visited and left these for the youngun’s!
