Put the new huge pizza stone in the clean oven today and made my first loaf of artisan bread. Just a simple basic white boule!
I think it came out great, really enjoyed eating it with dinner. Will make toast tomorrow!
Full Disclosure, I made the dough in my bread machine and let it rise on sheet pan before baking it on the stone. I followed a recipe from The Artisan Bread Machine by Judith Fertig. Here’s hoping it wasn’t beginner’s luck!
