Thanksgiving Tips

Here’s a link to lots of T-day tips, yours truly contributed to this gathering of chef tips on Google +!  Check it out lots of great advice!

Still working on my own final menu but here’s the list of definites:

Appetizers simple and light:

Spinach Balls. Avocado Hummus & Chips, Sun-dried Tomato Jam Crostini, Cranberry Kir for the Adults!

Dinner:

Brined Roasted Turkey, Apple & Celery Stuffing, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Roasted Butternut Squash w/Sage & Dried Cranberries, Creamed Onions, Corn, Rice,Roasted Brussels Sprouts w/Pomegranate & Hazelnuts, Cranberry Orange Compote, Relish tray with Sweet Pickles, Pickled Cauliflower, Jellied Cranberry Sauce, Pimento Stuffed Olives, Pimento Cheese Stuffed Celery, Rolls and Butter!

Dessert:

Apple Crostada, Chocolate Pumpkin Bundt Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream

Wines:

French this year:  Cotes Du Rhone and Unoaked Chardonnay.
